Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Bio technology Researcher with over 10 years of experience in the field of biotechnology research. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and conducting research projects, developing and implementing research strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance our understanding of biological systems and develop innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement research plans and protocols to achieve research objectives
• Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions
• Lead and collaborate with research teams, including scientists, engineers, and technicians
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including academic institutions, research organizations, and industry partners
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in biotechnology research and identify opportunities for innovation and growth
• Develop and manage research budgets, forecasts, and reports
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences
• Mentor and train junior researchers and students
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and institutional policies

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in biotechnology research, with a proven track record of publication and innovation
• Strong expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemistry
• Experience with research techniques, including DNA sequencing, gene editing, and cell culture
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions
• Experience with research management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in leading research teams and training junior researchers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industry partnerships and collaborations
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety protocols
• Experience with grant writing and fundraising
• Strong computational skills, including programming languages such as R or Python
• Experience with bioinformatics tools and databases

Work Environment

• The Bio technology Researcher will work in a laboratory setting, with regular exposure to biological and chemical agents
• The researcher will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols
• The researcher will have access to state-of-the-art research facilities and equipment

Reporting and Relationships

• The Bio technology Researcher will report to the Director of Research and Development
