Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our laboratory for technical products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, managing a team of technical professionals, and ensuring the development and implementation of innovative technical products. The Lead will play a critical role in driving the technical direction of our products, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Laboratory Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the laboratory team, including setting goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Product Development: Lead the development, testing, and implementation of technical products, ensuring they meet customer requirements, industry standards, and company goals.
• Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise to excel.
• Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical expert and resource for the laboratory, providing technical guidance and support to team members and other departments as needed.
• Quality and Compliance: Ensure the laboratory operates in compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
• Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute laboratory projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and successful outcomes.
• Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring that technical products meet customer needs and expectations.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks associated with product development and laboratory operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, physics, chemistry) or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge and expertise in a relevant field, with experience in product development, testing, and implementation.
• Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in team management, mentoring, and development.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Degree: Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant technical field.
• Certifications: Relevant technical certifications or professional licenses.
• Industry Experience: Experience in a specific industry or sector (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive).
• Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
